edition has corrections, 20% more exercises, etc., but no new subsections
The first free comprehensive textbook on quantum (and classical) field theory.
The approach is pragmatic, rather than traditional or artistic: It includes
practical techniques, such as the 1/N expansion (color ordering) and spacecone
(spinor helicity), and diverse topics, such as supersymmetry and general
relativity, as well as introductions to supergravity and strings. The PDF
version can be more convenient than paper books, with Web links and a
clickable outline (contents) window.
"Strong woman: unshrouding the secrets of the soul"
by M. Sue Benford
Source Books, Inc.
PO Box 292231, Nashville, TN
A brave and unusual book outlining Sue's personal journey and her remarkable
experiments with quantum holographic encoding, Dela Warr photography and energy
signatures of conscious intent. Benford's research received a grant from the
Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS), to support her work in the identification
of the subtle energies responsible for alternative healing effects. Further
recognition for Benford's research and theories has come through the Discover
Magazine awards program. The author of several breakthrough papers on the Shroud
of Turin and an acclaimed expert in this field, Sue's innovative studies
represent pioneering experimental work and deserve further attention.
