TARGET PAIRS FOR MOTION VARIABLE In the following 30 target pairs, target A is identified as possessing a higher degree of perceivable motion than target B. The experiment was double-blind, in that pairs were assigned a coordinate, placed in an envelope and mixed with targets from a second variable pool, such that by selecting an envelope the tasker could not know what type of target was chosen; there was no front-loading other than the general methodology and purpose of the experiment, and no awareness on the part of the viewers as to what variable was being tested. Once all RV data was submitted by the given deadline, the targets were posted for the viewers' feedback. Target coordinates were submitted as mm/dd/yy-1 and mm/dd/yy-2, with A and B types randomly assigned between 1 and 2 files.
